Silver Fin Lakefront Inn, originally a salmon cannery cabin built in 1901, is an Alaskan-style lodge nestled on the shore of pristine Lake Aleknagik. Whether you are coming for a short or extended stay, alone or with others, we have a place for you. So glad you found us! The space We offer a variety of accommodations to suit your needs. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, a home base for your big-game hunting or fishing trip, or a place of solitude for work, adventure or inspiration this could be the place for you. The crew quarters include four cots in the same room with a microwave, coffee maker, table, desk, and TV with DVD player. There is also a full bed in a private room available. A bathroom with a shower and bathtub is shared between each cot and the private room. The quarters are only a moments walk from the main lodge where you may join us for hot coffee and breakfast each morning. You'll love our rum sauce on your waffles! Guest access Feel free to inquire about internet availability, laundry services, freezer space, and options for lakefront activities. We are happy to recommend fly-out or guided boating excursions for sightseeing, hunting and fishing as well as private charters and canoe, kayak, and boat rentals. During your stay We will be happy to welcome you and help you get your bearings. You will have quite a bit of privacy staying in the cabin, and a little more of a family feel if in the main lodge--but either way--if you need us, we're not far. Other things to note Although uncommon, we have had brown bear and moose walk through our property. For this reason we recommend to guests they be aware of their surroundings at all times.
