ShantyStay Accommodations - Sleeping Cabins (A)

Our sleeping cabins resemble lobster bait shacks and were lovingly handcrafted using Island White Cedar. They are rustic but cozy, comfortable yet basic. Double bed with duvet bedding, private bath with shower, mini fridge and kettle. Located in the centre of a small fishing town in Eastern PEI. Walking distance to all amenities, the Confederation Trail and Les Iles de la Madeleine Ferry(CTMA) terminal, and Souris Beach. Basin Head and other beaches are a close drive away. Private parking. The space Our cabins measure 12 x 12 ft and include a double bed, duvet bedding with a removable cover which is cleaned after each use, bath area with a shower stall, mini fridge and two chairs. They are insulated, heated electrically and cooled only by an oscillating fan and two screened windows that allow the ocean breeze to flow through. A cathedral ceiling makes them feel airy and spacious. There is no TV. WIFI is available in each cabin and the courtyard area. Storage is limited…we recommend leaving large luggage safely locked in your car. There is no cooking allowed inside or on the wooden deck platform but there are various dining options within walking distance. We have a strict “no dogs” policy and children over 10 years only are allowed due to the close distance between the cabins. Guest access Picnic tables in our courtyard are for guest use. Longer term parking is available for registered guests travelling to Les Iles de Les Madeleines. Other things to note Children over 10 years only are allowed due to the close distance of the cabins We have a strict, no dog policy. No smoking or vaping allowed beyond the parking lot. Cooking is not allowed inside or outside of the cabins. Our bedding is European style with duvets. The removable cover is washed after each use. There is no extra flat sheet. Storage is limited….just bring your essentials…it’s safe to lock the rest in your car. Quiet hours are between 9pm/21:00 and 8:00am.
