The cottage located 5 miles from Ninilchik, 40 miles to Homer and 38 miles to Soldotna and the famous Kenai River. The cottage has all the amenities you need to be comfortable while staying at Ninilchik’s Woodland Cottage. IF YOU CLEAN FISH HERE PLEASE. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF. AND PLEASE REMOVE GUTS AND CARASSES AFTER YOUR THROUGH. TAKE THEM BACK TO BEACH AREA... Quiet, secluded landscaped and wooded area Friendly and knowledgeable staff Ample Parking Excellent location Close to sightseeing and fishing  Our cottage is located on a nicely wooded area in a quiet neighborhood. There is a picnic area with a firepit and a barbecue grill to enjoy the summer days in Alaska. Your just over a mile to the inlet. Where their is Beach access. There is an on site manager 24/7 available to the guests anytime This is a very quiet and private neighborhood. It's close to fishing, public amenities, easily accessible to the Sterling Highway and the single rental cottage is on a nicely wooded and landscaped lot. Although we are located near the main highway on the Kenai Peninsula public transportation is not available. A rental car is a necessity. We are in the heart of some of the most majestic scenery in our state. The Homer area is also known as The Fishing Capital of the world. You have Homer just 40 miles South. Anchor Point River 20 miles south. Deep Creep River and the Nililchik River just minutes away. The Kasilof and Crooked Creek around 30 miles North. And the famous Kenai River with several access point. IN and around Soldotna /Kenai Area around 38 miles North. The Moose River bout 50 miles North and. Finely the Famous Kenai and Russian River access 85 miles North. Most of the communities in this area have charter boat, river guides or surf fishing guides available. Theirs beach access just a mile and a half down the road. So, if you live in the state and have 4 wheelers or side by side your more than welcome to bring them. There're miles of beach to explore. YOU just need to read the tide book. So, you don't get stuck at high tide
