It’s perfectly designed to accommodate friends and family gatherings - with large common areas coupled with plenty of private spaces to retreat to. Our Beach is one of the best on the island, and no we don't have a seawall, common to so many other properties. We have an awesome PRIVATE POOL, PADDLE BOARDS AND 2 KAYAKS. Each room has its own private sitting area and/or outdoor shower, making it easy to stay with large groups. Our new flagship resort is appointed with custom, hand-built furniture, crystal chandeliers, the finest finishes, Mexican tile, granite countertops, and crisp white linens. The kitchen includes all of the plates, pots, pans, small appliances and serving ware to accommodate home-cooking and bartending. High speed wi-fi and cable is available to keep you connected if you so desire. We have a 1-1/2' thick solid handmade chechem/zerocote dining table in the first floor grand dining area that will accommodate your entire dinner party or a large wedding party. Or have a table set on the roof and have your wedding reception*.. We welcome families, couples, singles, children of all ages and of course wedding parties. Relax on the expansive decks, swim in the private infinity pool just steps from the ocean, lounge on the built in pool lounge chairs, or situate yourself under our large, private, beach palapa and nap in the hammocks, read the book you’ve been meaning to get through, or sip a favorite beverage while you reconnect with friends and family. From the roof deck you have a spectacular view of Caye Caulker. This fantastic villa is close enough to town to easily enjoy all of the restaurants and activities offered in San Pedro, but far enough away from the noise to relax and enjoy the pure tranquility of the ocean. Get out and enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach, world-class bone and permit fishing right off the beach or take a swim in the Caribbean ocean. We can set you up to fish right off the beach and the chef will cook up the catch (extra fee). Or have our tour guidertake you out on the boat (extra fee) and fish and snorkel or dive off of a PRIVATE BOAT! Belize’s treasured national marine park, Hol Chan, is directly in front of the house. There is easy access to and from town either by bicycle, golf cart, or taxi. The roof deck provides the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the Caribbean, or unwind after a hard day of play and watch the amazing sunsets over the unobstructed views of the Caribbean, lagoon and the Marco Gonzalas Mayan Ruin less that 1/2 mile from the house. Pull up a deck chair and watch the osprey that nest in the tree behind the house. *WEDDING AND EVENTS We welcome small to large weddings and or events at Plantación de Sueños. New to the resort in March of 2022 is a rooftop bar, event catering kitchen, and rooftop restroom facilities. The bar is covered by a romantic large thatch palapa. There is also a trellis area perfect for magically lit dinner parties and receptions. With 360° views of the Caribbean and island, this is the perfect area for your wedding reception, birthday or other celebration. Local caterers say it is the best large wedding venue on the island. We have complimentary tables and chairs for 18. For larger groups, we can set up tables and chairs for parties up to 75 (extra fee) on the roof or our large beautiful sea wall free beach. . THE ENTIRE LUXURY RESORT is rented: 8 Bedrooms, 8 Baths, 2 living areas and an additional private living area in the owner's suite (early bird gets the worm) , an inviting Game Room/Bar area on the second floor and a Kitchen wall/bar that opens up to the pool area. SLEEPING AT THE HOUSE We do not charge additional per person, and the house has beds for maximum 22 if you sleep 2 on each of 2 sofa beds, which are located in the common living room areas of the main villa. ARRIVAL We will be there to meet you! Your international flight would be to Goldson International Airport in Belize City (airport code BZE). Once at Goldson Int'l airport, there are 2 options to get you over to the island Ambergris Caye: commuter flight or public water taxi (by boat). 1) The commuter flight (ca. 15min) to Ambergris Caye each way. You can make your reservations on Tropic air, or if you prefer not to have to pay for the full group fare in advance, we’d be happy to make your reservation for you if you provide us the names in your party and your US flight arrival info. You'll pay for the flight when you check in at the Tropic Air counter after clearing customs (each person can pay their own). 2) The least expensive option is to take a public water taxi which can take 1.25 – 2 hours depending on stops/passengers at Caye Caulker. We can arrange to have taxis waiting to transport you from San Pedro airstrip or water taxi stop to the villa. They are $25/taxi and can transport 4-6 people each depending on your luggage. We can also help line up golf cart rentals and have them waiting when you arrive to drive back to the house. GETTING TO TOWN You can get to downtown San Pedro in about 15 min by golf cart or taxi.
