Room has a queen bed for two, but also a single bed for a child or another adult as well. This beautiful setting is next to a waterfall and numerous swimming holes. Abuts 700 acres of school property and has a forest full of trails and privacy, even while being right on the road (less than a 1/2 mile from paved Rte 2). 6 minutes from 3 lovely local restaurants, plus many more in the state capital of Montpelier. Only 6 minutes from Goddard College. Private bedroom queen bed/firm to medium, 2 bathrooms, 1 with/tub, 1 with tub & shower upstairs, main living room and full access to kitchen. Pure, clean spring water on tap. Tea, coffee, cream and sugar available to start your day. You are on your own for meals, but welcome to use kitchen to cook. I have been vaccinated, but my dr's recommend that I not spend time indoors with anyone who is not vaccinated, even if everyone is masked. Thank you for your understanding. I am a very quiet morning person, 2 cups of tea and then I'm ready to go, takes about a hour. I let guests do their own activities, whether it is choosing to just relax here next to the brook, take a walk on the trail accessed from my back yard, or go around central Vermont being a tourist, or just visiting family & friends. I provide tea & coffee, but the rest of breakfast is up to you at many of our fine local diners. This is a wonderful, rural community just 20 minutes from the state capital, Montpelier, Vt. You can stay here and enjoy nature and relax and refresh. You can also drive to 3 different wonderful restaurants within minutes from my home. Cabot Cheese, with a sample of every flavor, is only 15 minutes away. Bragg Farm maple sugar house is an even shorter drive. Go have a maple creemee, soft serve, ice cream cone! You should have a car. I am 1/10th of a mile off a major secondary paved road, Rte 2, but this is rural Vermont, not a city. It's a place where you can see the stars at night, listen to the brook run next to the house, a place to unwind or to just sleep after you play tourist all day! I appreciate it if guests strip their beds upon leaving. I am nearly 66 and deal with arthritis and it just makes it a little easier for me to keep up with the prep for the next guest to use the room. Thanks!
