Cozy Rustic Cabin Retreat

You’ll love our cozy little cabin's rural setting just 20 mins from Quesnel. Our cabin is great for families and anyone who likes to rough it just a little bit. The sunflower decor and pine furniture will make you feel welcome and relaxed. You can curl up with a book in the rocker by the fire or play one of the games in the cabinet. The kitchenette has everything you will need! Just bring your food and prepare to relax and enjoy! The space Our Cozy Little Rustic Cabin is comfortable and welcoming. If you love the cabin experience, then you will love our little place. Included is a kitchenette with cold running water, a small fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, hotpot, and a hot plate. There is a fresh 5 gallon water jug inside for drinking, cooking and washing up. To get you going in the morning you'll find coffee, tea, coffee mate, sugar. Comforts include a wood stove or an electric heater, fan, pine buffet/cabinet, table and chairs, and double futon/couch, 1 rocker, a comfy queen sized bed and a loft area with both a small double and single futon. Towels, hand towels, face cloths, and blow dryer also available in cabinet as well as lots of games. A covered front porch to enjoy your morning coffee listening to the birds and squirrels chitter. You'll also be able to hear the chickens, ducks and turkeys nearby. We do provide earplugs in the left hand drawer in the cabinet, in case you're a light sleeper. They do tend to wake up early! There is an outhouse behind the cabin with a nice clean compost toilet on one side and a propane shower on the other. A firepit, table and chairs and barbecue are across the driveway just for your use. Firewood is availability for purchase at $20/lg muck bucket. We don't have wifi, but the cell service is good. Hope to see YOU soon! Guest access The door will be open for you when you arrive and a key is hanging just inside. As guests, you will have sole use of the cabin, campfire, BBQ, shower, compost outhouse and the driveway in front of the cabin! Other things to note There is one restaurant 5 minutes away. They (Rocky's) also sells fuel, groceries, alcohol and hard icecream! There is another restaurant about 20 minutes further up (left at) the Nazko Highway called Sylvia's with showers, laundry mat, groceries and more! Or check the eatery booklet on the cabinet for ideas in town. For some fun head into town to our local recreation centre, use the gym, enjoy the pool, hot tub, and steam room. Open all day every day!
