You will stay over the former Smith Brothers Druggists' apothecary, which long time residents still remember from its days of glass-stoppered bottle-lined shelves; little of the original building has changed, though the loft has been treated to updated plumbing, electric and modern must-have amenities. The apothecary is on an acre of land bordered by a creek in back and has a balcony, several porches, large backyard and campfire ring. The hosts live a mile from the rental and are available for recommendations on what to do, where to eat and more, can help if any issue arises, but otherwise will let you enjoy your stay as if the loft were your own. Stroll to eateries, bars, trails, a lake with a beach, and a community center with events, classes, a thrift shop, and more. Located at the base of Belleayre Mountain, it's a short drive to Phoenicia, Woodstock, Andes, and many outdoor activities. We are located within walking distance (10 mins) of Pinehill Trailways bus service from Port Authority (and many other points north and south). Pine Hill is just off Rte 28 out of Kingston. Having your own car is recommended.
