Base Camp Anchorage is a hostel run by world travelers passionate about Alaska and its backcountry. We have one private room for travelers wanting to experience our community environment and amenities (Day Hikes, Sauna, bike rentals, sensory deprivation float tank) while still having their own privacy. The space Welcoming atmosphere, large spacious backyard, bicycle rentals, wood burning sauna, day hikes, sensory deprivation float tank. Guest access We offer a private room and spacious 4 bed dorms. Free breakfast with organic coffee, oatmeal, and pancakes. Our backyard is ideal for hikers and bicyclists to organize gear and prepare for upcoming trips. We also rent bicycles at our hostel and have a sauna and float tank for weary travelers to relax their muscles after returning from their trips. During your stay We are a hostel focused on community and positive social exchange. Privacy is also respected and guests determine the level of interaction they are comfortable with. We are not a party hostel and our quiet hours begin at 11 pm. Other things to note Our hostel has both female and mixed dorm rooms and well as one private room. Dorm rooms must be booked directly through the hostel.
