Cabin in Idyllwild-Pine Cove

On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. The property is the perfect mix of civilization since you're in town, but with beautiful nature everywhere! The guest cabin sits near our "Summer House" and the two cabins share original 1920s rock pathways in the yard that meander down to the creek. A short walk to town, you can park your car for the stay and experience the entire town by foot. Hikes are a 5 minute drive from the property (the cabin has an Adventure Pass for parking at local trailheads). FUN STUFF - Organic eggs - if you'd like some from our coop just let us know! - Vintage record player, typewriter - Fireplace (a bundle of firewood provided in the cabin, additional wood can be purchased at local stands) - AC & Heat - Galley kitchen w/ all the essentials - King Tempurpedic bed, Smart TV in bedroom - Books/games - Hot tub plus outdoor hang deck w/ propane fire ring - propane gas BBQ - No microwave (it's against the laws of nature, ha!) CABIN RULES - We kindly request that guests remove shoes while in the cabin. - Please be mindful of energy usage when in the mountains and pack layers for coziness. - No electric vehicle charging is permitted at the property. - Please use exhaust fan when cooking. - Pets: one pet allowed (must be on the official reservation tab, $100 pet fee) - Only guests confirmed on the reservation are allowed at the property. - All events / photoshoots to be approved/paid for prior to booking or a flat fee will be charged. - Please respect spa service/housekeeping's personal time by checking out on time so they can begin their work. Guest access - The Owl Pine is ideal for individuals or couples. The cabin has one dedicated parking space.
