Cozy cabin nestled away on a private road. Peaceful yet centrally-located home. This "on island" location is minutes from everything MDI has to offer. In our very special family home built by my father, you will find everything you need to enjoy a fantastic stay. This seasonal home is available May through October. The space Handbuilt by my father this cozy log cabin will be a perfect home base for all of your national park adventures. Natural wood and thoughtful decor is sure to make you feel right at home. Other things to note Please note-We leave what we consider to be a "starter supply" of household staples. We give a few laundry pods, a few dishwasher pods, enough coffee pods for your group on your first morning and even some pantry items in the event that you arrive late and hungry. This is considered a courtesy and not intended to keep you through your stay. There are several nearby grocery stores where you can find all that you may need. Also-please understand that the washing machine is really reserved for extended stay guests (7-10 nights). I do leave it available for shorter stays in the event that you have an emergency and need to wash something unexpectedly. But be aware that our house has a septic a well and a pump. Please do not come and do loads of laundry each day. The system can not withstand that.
