Weslemkoon Fishing and Family Cottage

A cozy family cottage located on one of the top 10 rated Bass fishing lakes in Ontario. Bring you own boat or cast out on either of the 2 kayaks or paddle boat. Our boat garage will keep your boat dry on rainy days. Swim off the separate swimming dock. The cottage has games and puzzles to whittle away the afternoon in the screened in gazebo. The cottage is equiped with pots, pans, dishes, towels, assorted spices, water cooler and BBQ. Bring your own bedding and towels. Xtra chrg if required The space Our cottage is one of the few road access cottages on this excellent fishing lake. It has a cottage feel. To it but still has many amenities to keep you comfortable. The kitchen has coffee maker and Keurig. The property is mostly flat with a slight hill at the shore. 2 private bedrooms but extra pullout bed in the fireplace room. Lots of wood for campfires but please check for notice of fire bans. You will need lots of supplies for S'mores 🤗 and don't forget mosquito spray 🦟. With a 35 min drive to Trudys gas station and LCBO or 50 min drive to Bancroft or Madoc, ensure you have gas when you arrive to get back home. Near by town of Coe Hill has a groceries, LCBO, an old school house turned tea room and Nick knack store sure to impress. The local arena has high grade gasoline at higher marina pricing. They also sell great Kawartha Dairy products, cottage apparel and limited groceries at Weslemkoon Marina. Once you get there and breath in the fresh air of our boreal forest and look out to the water, settling in will be a great feeling. The front deck gazebo along with mosquito coils should minimize the bug bites. Bald eagles are frequently seen along with other bird watcher delites are already there by the door for you to borrow. We have lots of games, puzzles, crib board, bocce ball set and Wii for Dance dance revolution lol. Our cottage is distanced away from both neighbours but boaters to their rental garages will give you nice people to wave hello to as you sip a cool drink on the dock. Do not swim into the boat channel for obvious reasons. So be excited a great stay at our cottage Guest access The exclusive use of the property and cottage for your stay. Access for your boat at the boat garage. Other things to note Tap water is from the lake. We have a water cooler for 15L jugs of water that don't always require deposit when bought in the city. You will need to bring up drinking/cooking water. No food or oils down drains. Human waste and limited toilet paper in septic. NO BABY WIPES OR FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS IN TOILET. No pets on the furniture inside please. No smoking in the cottage. Litter must not be left on ground. Bring your garbage/recycling home with you as our owners do not live near property and local dump is only open limited days. The lady that works there is CRAZY strict about what is in the garbage and type of bags used. Do not leave garbage bags outside as they will most likely be ripped apart and can attract large wildlife. The cottage road is gravel and hilly and windy. Drive slow thru the turns watching for occasional other cars.
