Amazing Echo Park Hillside View!!!
Unique, newly restored one bedroom turn of the century home with a cast Iron fireplace, 55 inch Smart TV, spacious patio , living room & dining room, washer and dryer, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Accommodates up to 4 guests using the sofa bed. The bedroom is small but the apartment is spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast nook for convenience. I love this location and put a lot of extra time into the details that create this unique living space. The apartment is full of cheerful light. The property dates back to the 1800s when horse and buggy was the only form of transportation. You will love the private patio canopied by a Mexican Sapote, Macadamia, and fig tree. This location is perfectly situated: just 10 min drive from downtown LA, 10 min to Hollywood and a 15min walk to the Echo park lake where you can rent a paddle boat and take a tour of the lake. The local café (The Fix) is just 2 blocks away. It is nice to spend a few minutes in the morning enjoying a latte or espresso before beginning the day. There are many local trendy restaurants and bars including Mohawk bend, an old movie theater turned into a bar/restaurant. The Echo is the perfect location to stay if you want to visit Los Angeles and all parts of downtown including Disney Concert Hall, The Staples center, Dodger Stadium, The Geffen contemporary art museum, The LA Convention Center, The museum of modern art and the Museum of Contemporary Art, . It is close to Universal studios, The LA Zoo, 30 minutes from Disneyland and Knott’s berry farm. Griffith park observatory can be seen from Baxter Street, a street that I find thrilling to drive on. The famous Hollywood sign is close for taking personalized photographs. If you are traveling for the Aerospace industry you could find this area intriguing with all its classic architecture and for taking a tour along the famous Sunset Blvd, starting in Echo park passing through Silver lake, Hollywood, Mid-Wilshire district, Beverly Hills, Palisades, Topanga, and finally all the way to the beautiful Pacific Coast highway 1, a scenic drive all the way to San Francisco. A 2 min walk to the DASH PICO Union/Echo Park bus at the bottom of the hill will connect you with major buses and Metro line to go around the city.
