The space If you have never slept in an eco-friendly, organic earthen house, this is your chance to enjoy a unique experience. From the moment you step inside, you will notice the special feeling of inhabiting a space built from natural materials. This bungalow has everything you need to rest, unplug, and recharge for a few days. It features a queen-size bed with an orthopedic mattress to ensure a comfortable sleep, plus a hidden trundle bed underneath that can be used by a child. The kitchen is equipped with a blender, electric kettle, dishes, cutlery, pots, and the essentials for preparing your meals. You will also have high-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi both inside and outside the bungalow, as well as a small desk in case you need to work during your stay. The natural pool—not a conventional swimming pool—offers an experience you won't want to miss. You can swim in living, crystal-clear water that is free of chlorine and chemicals. As it is a natural ecosystem, the water is not heated and remains at ambient temperature. It can be used year-round, though it is especially enjoyable in spring and summer. Your pet is welcome! Please keep in mind that a Rough Collie, a Chihuahua, and two cats live on the property. We take great care with cleanliness, so we ask that you prevent your pet from getting on the furniture and leave the space clean at the end of your stay. Walking the trails of Amatán is an experience that is hard to describe—it simply must be experienced firsthand. You are also free to use the campfire area without restriction. You can bring your own firewood, or we can arrange it for you for an additional fee. The bungalow borders the forest directly, so you may encounter some insects or small visitors typical of a natural environment. It is generally not excessive or a problem for most of our guests, but it is something to keep in mind as part of the experience of staying in the heart of nature. This means you may encounter mosquitoes, dust, insects, and other small local visitors—something to consider if you are particularly sensitive to this type of environment. In return, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of wildlife: butterflies, hummingbirds, chachalacas, dragonflies, birds, frogs, and—occasionally—cows and horses in the surrounding area. Living in close proximity to nature is part of the experience.
