Description

We offer spectacular views, thrilling local adventures, culture, cool nights & memorable experiences all in a safe area. Our property is surrounded by lush rainforest-like conditions and still under 15 minutes from restaurants, pubs, churches, and supermarkets with an easy drive from San Juan, and under 1.5 hours to most airports. We are also 30 minutes from larger rivers, caves, historic sites, coffee plantations and under 1 hour from science sites, canyons, waterfalls, and a beach. The space Our Property sits on 6.2 acres at the end of a private road in a delightful mountain town with lovely neighbors that enjoy engaging with our guests. When you stay here the views in all directions make you feel as though your backyard is a huge valley full of either mountain tops, a beautiful lake, rolling hills, lush jungle and/or beautiful green pastures. We built the flow of the campground so that each spot has one of these amazing views and each site has a nice amount of private space. Most guests rave about the crisp clean air during the day, the clear star-filled skies at night and even more so watching the enchanting mist grow from the valley throughout the night to then slowly disappear over the lake and between the thousand mountain tops and valleys every morning. Many guests comment about the seclusion, privacy, and safety that our property offers and the beautiful cool nights at this elevation. We also have a nice stream with a few kiddie pools, 2 small waterfalls and a delightful and natural plunge pool for the adults. The trail to get to this area is beautifully rugged but doable for most hikers I know. Another thing guests love is that we have local families that cook and deliver authentic Puerto Rican meals directly to your doorstep if requested. They do not offer you a menu, they basically offer you what he/she cooked for their own family that day. We provide a bonfire area with limited firewood for your bonfire. Note: The Wifi Access is Near the Tent but Not In the Tent. Please read the "Other Notes" section for more details about the Wifi Access. Thanks! Guest access Glampers get to enjoy the dedicated glamping space to the right of the guest house. -Each Tent has a cooler for your drinks and snacks. -The bamboo covered kitchen area has a charcoal grill for cooking, a two burner stove, a greca style coffee maker and a sink. We also provide plates, cookware, and silverware for up to 4 guests. -We now have Electic in the tents and kitchen but it's much better if you would bring your own charging devices in case of a temporary failure of the electric grid. -We have a delightful stream we access from our property for everyone at the property to use. I send you clear maps and instructions for those areas. -Many guests enjoy walks on the mountain roads that surround our property. You have about 3 miles of walking that can be done to and from the property and the elevations are delightful. WE HAVE: -A Charcoal Grill -A Cooler in your tent -A Fire Pit -Limited Fire Wood for the fire pit YOU MUST BRING (if desired): -Ice for your cooler -Kindling for the fire -Starter Fluid for the grill and/or fire -Spices and oil or butter to cook -Coffee and sugar -Umbrella or Poncho in case of rain Glampers SHOULD BRING: -Flash lights or head lamps (head lamps are great and make your experience more enjoyable). -Charging Solution/Charge Bank to charge your cell phones if the electric grid fails temporarily. They sell these at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Walmart and of course Amazon. -The Wifi can be used at the canopy right before getting to the glamping area. It's just a few feet away. There is NO Wifi in the tent. You'd have to walk to the Canopy to work or get Wifi. It is close. You may need a small extension cord if you're going to connect a computer here to work. Thank You! Other things to note -There are so many amazing things to do in our area. Please refer to my Things To Do link in your inbox and your Airbnb guidebook. -We are in the mountains which means we have some lovely green areas for your children to play with lots of plants, flowers, and trees but there are also a few spots throughout the complete property where they can get hurt. Please watch your children at all times. -All mountain rivers are beautiful but can be dangerous on their own and even more so when it rains. Please be careful and DO NOT allow children or teenagers at the stream alone. There are beautiful rock formations to enjoy but also dangerous for kids. -The trail down to the stream is delightfully rough and rustic. It is fun and adventurous with ropes in a few spots to help but it is also not easy peasy. -We have put extra effort to separate the guest home from the glampground as neither space needs anything from the other. Both you and they pay different prices for your privacy so please respect each others space by not going to the guest house for anything. If you think you need something please reach out to us and we will make arrangements about your request. -The Wifi can be used at the canopy right before getting to the glamping area.
