(VLOT Magazine) A unique and luxurious houseboat! This one of a kind houseboat is completely new, built from scratch at a Ships Warf in 2014 and completed in July 2015. The outside of the houseboat is similar to a traditional cargo skip called “Luxe Motor”, while the custom interior is truly extraordinary. The spacious houseboat has 2 floors and lots of windows that overlook the Amstel river to which Amsterdam owes its name. As the houseboat is located directly next to the famous “Skinny Bridge”, you can only imagine the beautiful views this gives you while inside or outside the houseboat. The houseboat is packed with luxurious facilities including a jacuzzi, separate rain shower and a modern heating system, which will keep you warm when necessary. Enjoy your drinks outside on the deck while watching the boats pass by and be amazed when the lights of the Skinny Bridge are turned on in the evening.... At the top floor you will find a large living area with a kitchen (without a stove) with a dishwasher, Nespresso machine and tea making facilities, oven/microwave and lots more. Basically everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible! In the ridge of the top floor you will find 1 bedroom with a kingsize bed with a skylight window located above the bed for romantic star gazing at night as well as an amazing view of the Skinny Bridge! Guaranteed for a full houseboat experience! At the bottom floor you will find 1 large bedroom with a kingsize bed and a bathroom with a separate rain shower and jacuzzi. There is also a separate toilet. Fresh linen and towels are provided upon arrival and extra arrangements can be made upon request. Guest access As an official Bed and Breakfast in Amsterdam, Houseboat Jupiter offers a unique opportunity to stay overnight on a houseboat in the heart of the city. We rent out only the permitted part of the property, fully in accordance with the strict regulations of the Municipality of Amsterdam. This ensures a legal, safe, and worry-free stay. Our guests have their own entrance and enjoy complete privacy in their stylish apartment at the front of the houseboat. In accordance with regulations, there is no full stove. However, there is a practical kitchen with basic amenities. For a cozy meal, you can visit the many bars and restaurants in the area – ideal for experiencing the Amsterdam atmosphere. Or order and have your food delivered to enjoy on deck (or indoors) with your own group. Important to know: these rules apply to all official B&Bs in Amsterdam. If you see another houseboat in Amsterdam with a full kitchen, there's a good chance that location doesn't have a valid permit, and you run the risk of having your booking canceled just before or during your stay.
