Stay in a Novel. A retreat next to World Heritage
神倉書斎 [Kamikura-Hideaway]
Description
Our house is called Kamikura-Hideaway. It is a small 50-year-old house located at the foot of Kamikura Shrine. Contemporary artist Fulbrn revived it as the art piece "Narrative Space." Since this house once served as a geologist's hideaway, bits of history are scattered throughout the building. Our uniqueness has even been featured in the travel media AFAR, reflecting our commitment to a memorable guest experience. We hope you will enjoy touching someone's story "floating" around the room. The space You can use the entire two story building as your home. The building is not only a novel home, but also has all the amenities you need for your stay. In the bedroom, futons are set up in a traditional tatami room. Thick mattresses are used so that even those who normally sleep on beds can sleep well. There are high speed Wi-Fi and high capacity air conditioners. We care about the health of our guests and the environment. Most of the walls and floors are made of natural materials. All towels and sheets are organic cotton. Body soaps and shampoos are free of chemicals and synthetic additives. We do not provide disposable toothbrushes or razors, so please bring your own. Guest access Guests have access to the entire two-story building, except for the area marked "Staff Only". Staff will guide guests through the building at check-in, but will not enter after that. Other things to note The host lives just a minute walk away and can come to you if you need anything. Please ask for everything.
