The space A two-storey modern minimalist house with 180 sqm total floor area (built in November 2021) LOCATION: - Enter "Das Haus Tagaytay" in Waze or G Maps to check location or distance to any place - Located in a quiet subdivision: Merlinda Residences III, Barangay Zambal, Tagaytay City - Near The Flower Farm, Antonio's Restaurant, and Tagaytay Skyranch - Near SaveMore Supermarket in Tagaytay-Mendez Crossing; PITX bus drop-off CHECK-IN TIME: 3 PM onwards; evening also fine - host to welcome you; early check-in not possible since we need to clean and Covid-disinfect the whole house after last guests check out by 12 noon CHECK-OUT TIME: 12 NOON - no extension possible CAPACITY: - Airbnb published rate is good for maximum 10 persons only (adult and children alike); infants below 1 year-old are free; - Additional 2 persons still possible (max total 12 pax only) for an extra charge of PHP 400/night/pax; to be collected upon check-in; - Visitors are allowed but anyone staying after 10 PM will be charged additionally whether they slept in the bedrooms or not. BEDROOMS: - 3 fully-airconditioned bedrooms upstairs; maximum sleeping capacity: 4 persons per room using 1 queen/double bed and 1 sofa bed - The Master's bedroom is installed with a smart TV. Videoke can also be connected there too. - For PWD or senior citizen guests: sofa bed can be set up in the ground floor living room for sleeping; couch can also be used for sleeping one person. - No available separate bedroom on the ground floor and no driver's or maid's quarter. - Beddings are already provided; one blanket and one pillow per registered guest. - Crib and high chair can be set up for infants. OPEN LIVING ROOM/DINING AREA: - Located at the ground floor, well-ventilated with Tagaytay natural air and sunlight coming through the huge glass windows and doors - Electric fans provided, no air-conditioning due to open high-ceiling area - Equipped with a huge smart TV with Netflix connection and Disney+ - Videoke provided for no extra charge (cannot be used during Silent Hour from 10 PM to 7AM) - Board games and books available INTERNET: - High-speed post-paid PLDT line - Strong WIFI connection all over the house for multiple users - Also ideal for work-at-home vacation stay MAIN KITCHEN & DIRTY KITCHEN: - Appliances: Refrigerator with freezer, 2-burner gas stove for unlimited cooking, rice cooker, water boiler, toaster, blender, - Fully furnished with all cooking and dining utensils - Basic condiments available: salt and pepper - Free drinking mineral water in 5-gallon water dispenser (normal and warm temperature) - Small barbecue grill (guests need to bring their own charcoal) BATHROOMS & TOILET: - One guest-powder room at the ground floor, no shower installation but warm bath can be prepared for seniors using a big water bucket and a portable electric water heater, if needed. - Master's bedroom has its own bathroom with a bath tub. - 2 bedrooms upstairs share a common toilet and bath with shower. - Hot and cold shower available. - Available water tank to ensure sufficient water supply 24/7. - Basic toiletries are provided: Tissue, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand liquid soap, hand alcohol disinfectant. - One bath towel is provided per registered guest (badly stained or missing towels upon check-out will be charged accordingly). PARKING: - 2 cars/vans fit inside the gated and covered garage. - More vehicles can park in front of the house or along the street. - No car washing allowed in the garage. PETS ARE ALLOWED. Maximum 2 pets only for additional charge of PHP 500 for the entire stay. Please declare your pets in the booking reservation request. One pet bed and pet bowls are provided. Pets must be brought outside for toilet or should wear diapers when inside the house. Damage caused by pet guests or special cleaning of pet pee/poop smell will be charged accordingly. NO CLEANING FEE CHARGE: - Our only request is for guests to wash, dry, and RETURN all used kitchen utensils back inside the kitchen cabinets. Sink should be clean and free of dishes. Failure to do so will be charged PHP 500.00 upon check-out. - No mandatory requirement upon check-out to fully clean the house. EVENTS/ WEDDING PREPARATION/ PHOTOSHOOT: - Wedding preparation is allowed only during the day that your wedding suppliers are coming (photographers, make-up artists, videographers, etc.). If your wedding entourage, family, and other guests will additionally join you in the house on the preparation day (will use toilet, electricity for hair dryer and charging phone, and other amenities etc.), we would need to charge you PHP 2,000 for this purpose, regardless of the total number of persons. Please be so kind to inform us of your wedding preparation group participants. - Small family or group events or meetings are allowed but no more than maximum 12 persons. - Hen/bridal shower, stag party, or any similar loud parties with more than 12 persons are not allowed. - SILENT NIGHT POLICY IN TAGAYTAY RESIDENTIAL AREA: NO LOUD NOISE/ NO VIDEOKE BETWEEN 10 PM TO 7 AM. - Events decorations are allowed but please use masking tape when attaching something on the wall. Wall paint damage will incur additional charge. NEAREST STORES: - Sari-sari stores in 5-10 min. walking distance outside village gate (open until 10 PM). A 24/7 store is just 5-min drive away. - SaveMore Supermarket (5-min drive, open until 8 PM) - Ayala Mall (20-min drive, open until 8 PM) OPTIONAL FAMILY ACTIVITY: - Free gardening in both external sides of the house - Day or night swimming in nearby Vibsey resort (5-min drive, PHP 120-150 admission fee) - Jogging inside the village OTHER SERVICES: - Transport/car service within Tagaytay - Food delivery/ catering - Same-day laundry delivery - Local recommendation for dining and tourist activities Hosts fluently speak Filipino and English. Guest access Whole house Other things to note Access to the place is convenient with a vehicle. Service vehicle or tricycles can also be arranged during your stay in the house for easy transport to the market or tourist attractions. The main road where you can take public transportation is just walking distance outside the residential subdivision. Neighborhood is ideal for jogging. Children can safely play outside the house. No busy traffic at all since it's in the corner of a private subdivision.
