Walk merely 60 steps to the sandy beach using the maintained beach access trail directly in front of the home. There is a wooden bridge and 7-8 uneven stairs. You will love the morning views and sunsets! This home is available to rent three different ways: the entire home, the upper duplex or the lower duplex. The amazing view is available at a small price … there are stairs … about 30 into the lower level. They are sturdy and wide. This property would not be appropriate for someone who has difficulty walking up or down stairs. It is not wheelchair accessible. Please pack lightly! Inside you will find a well-stocked kitchen with most everything you need to prepare meals including complimentary spices, coffee and tea, and beverage condiments as well as cleaning supplies. We also provide a crock pot, electric fry pan and electric griddle. Linens, towels and paper products are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. There is one bedroom in the lower level with a queen bed, tv and DVD player. There is a futon in the living room, perfect if you bring along a couple of kiddos. In the living room, there is a TV with cable service and smart DVD player with a variety of DVD movies! We also have a wireless speaker! We have a variety of games, puzzles and books! The washer/dryer is located in the lower level. There is a charcoal briquette BBQ on the lower deck. There is a clamming gun stored in the broom closet. Free WIFI access is included. Please be sure to adjust your phone settings to enable WIFI calling before you leave home. Some carriers require you do this from their network. Cell phone service is sketchy along the coast! This property does not have a landline. When you are ready to relax, there is an enclosed hot tub where you can also enjoy the view! The hot tub is shared by guests in both the upper and lower units. Please be respectful and follow the posted rules. There is a fire pit with rustic seating on the property. Firewood is available for sale in several locations nearby. You are welcome to use any wood stacked near the fire pit. Your pre-approved dogs are welcome, with a limit of two. Pet fee applies. Dogs must be friendly and under 40 pounds. Exceptions on a case by case basis. Doggy bags are provided; please pick up and dispose of any waste your dog leaves in the yard, on the private road or on the beach. Barking dogs are not allowed. If you would not allow your dog to run off leash in a dog park due to temperament, this is not the place for you. There are many friendly dogs off leash and children in the area and on the beach who may approach your dog on leash. Please read entire rules. This is a non-smoking property. Smoking or vaping of any kind is not allowed inside the home, on the decks & stairs or on the property. If discovered, extra cleaning fees will be charged. Typically, the beach is lightly populated with Pacific Beach public access to the south and Moclips Beach public access to the north. Walk down to the beach or load your lunch and beach toys into the car and use the public access where you can drive onto the beach! There are local activities, restaurants, shops and sights to see, or you can make a quick trip to Ocean Shores, about 20 minutes south. Fly a kite, build a sand castle or go kayaking. There are several nearby state parks for hiking or surfing. During the spring and summer, you can go clam digging, crabbing or fishing. In the winter, watch mesmerized as a storm passes through. Oh, and there is that sunset. It is even stunning on a cloudy night. Why visit this property? For us, it means peace, serenity, calm. An opportunity to enjoy the vast ocean, the crashing waves, the clean sandy beach. We love relaxing here and spending time alone as well as sharing with family and friends.
