Beautiful holiday home in the Vulkaaneifel with garden

For rent in the idyllic Eisenschmitt an der Salm (Volcano Eifel): beautiful holiday home with sunny terrace and gated garden. Home layout spacious kitchen-living room, bathroom 1st floor: beautiful living with bay window with WOOD STOVE (1 basket of firewood for the log burner is included)! 2nd floor: spacious bedroom WiFi is available, of course. Beautiful surroundings with vast forests and (volcano)lakes. Nice restaurants nearby. Beautiful hiking area from the house. The space The cottage has 3 floors Ground floor On the ground floor is the bathroom (shower and sink), the spacious kitchen, the dining area (24m2) with an exit to the terrace and the garden. An oven/grill, kettle, coffee maker / Senseo is provided. Living room On the 2nd floor there is a living room (32m2) with also a dining area, a "floating" bay window and a wood-burning stove. There is satellite TV with DVD and a CD/radio available, but you can also play one of the available games. There are also hiking maps and various documentation about the area. Bedroom On the 3rd floor you will find a spacious bedroom (25m2). The house has four sleeping places: one large double bedroom and on the 1st floor (living room) there is a comfortable, double sofa bed. You don't have to worry about pillows and duvets, because they are already present. For small children, there are also a number of amenities, such as a high chair, a travel bed, etc. The house is heated by 1 wood stove and electric radiators. Living/kitchen with dining area and the exit to the terrace/garden. Guest access Entire house Other things to note Near Eisenschmitt, you will find the famous Abbey Himmerod. Not only is this Abbey a landmark, but you can also enjoy a delicious dinner in the restaurant with outdoor terrace after the gate on the left. Across the village is the Köhlerstube,  where you can eat delicious for a small price. The schnitzels are beaten by hand. Nearby is the tourist town of Manderscheid (10 km from the vacation home). What Manderscheid makes known, among other things, are the two castles from the 13th century and the beautiful recreational swimming pool. Trier, Luxembourg, the Mosel, Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel are nice excursions in the area. Fifteen minutes drive, in Gondorf, is the Eifelpark. A wildlife and amusement park with various attractions like a toboggan run, slides and water coaster. In the wildlife park in Daun you can drive between the animals by car. You can get out and feed the animals in various places. There is also a falcon show, restaurant and playground is definitely recommended.  In the hot summer days, a visit to the Meerfelder Maar (swimming lake) is also definitely recommended (8 km from the house). You can also throw out a fishing rod at the trout nursery of Abbey Himmerod. For the walkers there is a nice route from the spring at the church in the village to Abbey Himmerod.
