Beautiful holiday home in the Vulkaaneifel with garden

For rent in the idyllic Eisenschmitt an der Salm (Vulkaaneifel): beautiful holiday home with sunny terrace and fenced garden. House layout Ground floor: spacious kitchen, bathroom 1st floor: Beautiful living room with bay window with WOOD STOVE (1 basket of firewood for the wood-burning stove is included)! 2nd floor: Spacious bedroom WiFi is of course available. Beautiful surroundings with vast forests and (volcanic) lakes. Nice restaurants are close by. Beautiful hiking area from the house. The space The cottage has 3 floors First floor On the ground floor is the bathroom (shower and sink), the spacious kitchen, the dining area (24m2) with an exit to the terrace and the garden. An oven/grill, kettle, coffee maker/Senseo is provided. Living room On the 1st floor there is a living room (32m2) with also a dining area, a 'floating' bay window and a wood burning stove. There is satellite TV with DVD and a CD/radio, but you can also play one of the games available. There are also hiking maps and various documentation about the area. Bedroom On the 2nd floor you will find a spacious bedroom (25m2). The house has four sleeping places: one large double bedroom and on the 1st floor (living room) there is a comfortable, double sofa bed. You don't have to worry about pillows and duvets, because they are already present. For small children, there are also a number of amenities, such as a high chair, a travel bed, etc. The house is heated by 1 wood-burning stove and electric radiators. Living room/kitchen with dining area and exit to the terrace/garden. Guest access Entire house Other things to note Near Eisenschmitt, you will find the famous Himmerod Abbey. Not only is this Abbey a sight to see, but you can also enjoy a delicious dinner in the restaurant with outdoor terrace after the gate on the left. Across the village is the Köhlerstube,  where you can eat delicious food for a small price. The schnitzels are beaten by hand. Nearby is the tourist town of Manderscheid (10 km from the vacation home). What makes Manderscheid so famous, among other things, are the two castles from the 13th century and the beautiful recreational swimming pool. Trier, Luxembourg, the Moselle, Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel are fun excursions in the area. A fifteen-minute drive away, in Gondorf, is the Eifelpark. A wildlife and amusement park with various attractions such as a toboggan run, slides and water roller coaster. In the wildlife park in Daun, you can drive by car among the animals. You can get out in various places and feed the animals. Furthermore, there is a falcon show, restaurant and playground, which is definitely recommended.  In the warm summer days, a visit to the Meerfelder Maar (swimming lake) is also highly recommended (8 km from the house). You can also cast a line at the trout farm of Himmerod Abbey. For hikers, there is a beautiful route from the spring at the church in the village to Himmerod Abbey.
