Lamlash- Self catering accommodation with seaviews

Ragnar's Rest is set in the village of Lamlash and offers stunning seaviews across the bay towards Holy Isle. The accommodation has an open plan living/kitchen area with stairs leading to a double bedroom and shower room. The property has been newly renovated and has a well-equipped kitchen, log burning stove and excellent Wifi. The decking area offers uninterrupted seaviews to Holy Isle with Millhill Burn running past the property. This presents the unique combination of woodland and beach. The space Ragnar’s Rest is located in the Millhill area of Lamlash which has long standing links to the Vikings. In 1896, whilst digging the foundations of the house, a Viking sword and shield were found. The “shield boss” is the only remaining part of the shield and is presently in the Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. Other things to note We will provide a large basket of seasoned logs for your personal use with a cost of £10 for each subsequent basket. We are happy to set or light the log burner for you and provide support if required.
