All rooms have private en suite bathrooms, and also porches for relaxing and watching the town. Most have fireplaces to cozy up to in the Winter. The Oregano Room is on the second floor at the front and has features designed to make you relax: porch with rockers and a table, double headed shower, and fireplace. The brewery in the cellar of the B&B, run by the innkeepers, draws guests and visitors alike. The beer garden can get lively with a fire pit in winter, but the brewery closes at 7 PM, so the evenings quiet down. As a guest, you can still get beer after hours, just talk to us in advance to arrange that. This is a bed and breakfast, offering all the amenities you expect in a luxurious B&B, with casual touches to make sure you are comfortable. The towels are highest quality and plentiful, bath amenities are supplied in self-branded packaging, the sheets are soft and the mattresses and pillows were purchased with thoughts of a blissful night's sleep. We supply a fresh, hot, full breakfast for you in the morning, and can serve beer from the on-site brewery any day of the week, even if the brewery is closed. We are a professional B&B with 13 years experience. We are fully licensed, insured and know how to meet your wishes. We live on-site, and are available to make recommendations on the best hiking trail for you, make dinner reservations, and provide maps and other suggestions to make your visit to the area perfect. The on-site brewery is open to the public some days, but beer is always accessible to guests by request. Guests have their room, a private porch, a porch for all the guests to share, the living room and a dining room. The outside beer garden is also available for use by the guests, and there is a fire pit in the Winter to keep you warm. The owners/brewers live on site, but do not share the guest space. Main Street is short and quiet, and the town does tend to close down by 10 PM or so. Having a car is key to getting here, and to getting out to hike. But you can also leave your car and walk, or hire a driver or car to take you around the area and visit wineries, distilleries, and see gorgeous scenery. Parking is free on site. Walking to everything in Sperryville is easy from Hopkins Ordinary, and Shenandoah National Park is in view and a short drive away. Cell service is spotty in this area, but we have strong WiFi, and can loan you a land line if you need to make a call. We do charge a 9.3% state and local lodging tax in addition to the price noted. We do not charge for housekeeping nor a deposit. We will have to collect the tax separately, as Airbnb does not have the ability to add this to the price when you make a reservation.
