We love our quiet residential neighborhood, our bed and breakfast is just two bloks from the ocean and a four minute drive from the town and lighthouse. Discover the country, lagoons and wildlife. Relax.. or just let nature's beauty quiet your mind.. Set in the woods, the house was designed to let light and nature in; creating a view from every window. Infinity lap pool surrounded by wooden deck, sand and pine trees. We provide beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. Bicycles for guests use.We can accommodate families, groups or couples. Guests are welcome in the shared space living room , there is direct TV, movies, board games and a library. If you want to borrow a book just let me know and be gracious to return it when you leave. Tea and coffee are always available. The kitchen is for our exclusive use only, however if you wish to use the "parrilla" outside barbecue, we will gladly provide dinnerware, spices, etc. Also I can prepare salads and sandwiches with veggies from my garden upon request. Pick ups from nearby airports can be arranged upon request. Our bed and breakfast is located in “Arenas de Jose Ignacio”, a quiet pine wooded residential area about 5 minutes by car from the Town Lighthouse. The “Brava” beach is just two blocks away and a short walk from the house. We love this convenient location: a little off, from the busyness of the town but close to all the great restaurants and landmarks of Jose Ignacio. Just one block north to the house, the developed area ends, you can take walks or rides , (horse or bikes), on the beautiful country lanes going north where you can enjoy seeing diverse wildlife on the lagoons and wetlands. We strongly suggest that you rent a car for your stay in Jose Ignacio. This will allow you to visit different beaches, lagoons, vineyards, bodegas, little towns like Garzón or La Barra and other places of interest nearby. But, in the event that you do not wish to rent a car, you can take a taxi, which will have to be arranged with plenty of time if you re coming during the busiest time, (New Year). There are few buses coming from Montevideo and Punta del Este, so it is wise to plan ahead if you will be arriving via bus or shuttle. There are no banks in town. There is an ATM at the Ancap gas station that works during the summer months. The closest banks are in Punta del Este. Mostly all restaurants and shops accept credit or debit cards.
