Sunrise House: Entire Apt Steps from the Beach

Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mosquito Lagoon estuary, this clean, comfortable, private space is an easy walk to the water. Enjoy sunrises and rocket launches from the beach, paddle the lagoon with dolphins and manatees, or experience New Smyrna Beach’s famous Canal Street Historic District and Flagler Avenue, and then return to this peaceful retreat to recharge for the next day’s adventure. Whether you are in town to swim, fish, paddle, shop, or dine, we invite you to be our guest. The space Sunrise House is a newly renovated independent apartment on the first floor of our home. The private entrance leads a foyer, full kitchen, two bathrooms, living room, bedroom, washer/dryer, plus independent wi-fi and AC. The bedroom has a queen bed, the living room has a convertible couch that folds out into a queen memory foam mattress, while the foyer has a convertible couch that sleeps one adult comfortably. The kitchen is recently remodeled with beautiful custom cabinets, stainless appliances, and a quartz countertop, and is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and blender. The living room and bedroom have ROKU TVs loaded with popular apps that you can use with your own accounts. There are books for all ages and preferences, plus a selection of board games. For beach-goers we provide beach chairs and a beach cart so that you can walk over to the beach and not worry about driving and parking Guests can enjoy our private back patio, which features a hot tub, grill, and outdoor dining area. These areas are shared with us, although the hot tub and grill are yours to use during your stay. Guest access The apartment has its own driveway and private entrance. You can easily walk to the beach, the lagoon, or Bethune Beach Park. JB's Fish Camp (casual dining and kayak/paddleboard rental) and Canaveral National Seashore are within one mile. You're only 6-7 miles to grocery stores and the Flagler Avenue and Canal Street districts Other things to note We welcome well-behaved pets. There are no size or breed limitations as long as your pet is not reactive, aggressive, or destructive. We have a dog and a cat and require all visiting pets to be at least as well-behaved as our own. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the beach closest to Sunrise House; however, our neighborhood has lots of dogs and there are some lovely places to walk your dog.
