Chanteak Bali is located amongst the jungle of rural Jimbaran, nestled between the 5 star resorts of the Four Seasons and Ayana, and just minutes from the famous Jimbaran beach. Eight pavilions are sprawled across an expansive tropical garden. Seven of these are individual villas, providing private, en-suite accomodation for guests. Four are newly renovated, traditional Balinese houses which provide a combination of luxury and rustic. These pavilions have been styled to maintain the integrity of the original 200 year old building, whilst incorporating the shabby chic of modern western interiors to create stylish spaces. Three of the pavilions are newly built, designed to reflect the shape of an authentic Bali house with 6 metre vaulted ceilings and recycled teak beams, making bright stately airy spaces which are a perfect combination of optic and rustic. Step up to the seductive qualities of the white, Uluwatu stone walls, and the soft hewn of the recycled teak, then add the western style interiors, boasting industrial materials like polished concrete, glass, steel, and iron. All eight air-conditioned bedrooms are dreamy with canopy beds, spacious indoor or outdoor bathrooms and verandahs perfect for morning coffee. The remaining pavilion is an exquisite, majestic, traditional 200 year old joglo of a grand scale. This beautiful teak building is embellished with handcrafted furniture and treasures selected by the hotel owner. This open air living pavilion overlooks the 15 metre pool and the expansive terraced garden. The landscape garden spans 2950 square metres across two terrace lawns. Stone steps are studded with lights that twinkle like a reflection of the stars from dusk to dawn. A comfortable tropical ambience prevails throughout the timber frame, living and sleeping pavilions.
