This charming summer cottage has origins in the 1920s and is one of the most private spots on all of Lake Sylvia. Seated on 20+ acres of maples and cedars, you will enjoy walks in the woods and private access to the cleanest and most well-known lake in the area. It's a beautiful spot for families to get away, kick back and experience lake life. We've decorated with antiques, and recently updated the kitchen. A separate boathouse has a rooftop deck and is a few feet from the water, a great spot to watch the sunset. Bring your boat, or fish and swim right from the dock. You have access to the entire house and the lake via the dock. We are available if needed. You will be able to check yourself in using the lockbox. The cottage is located just off of the Lake Sylvia Peninsula Road. This road winds between East and West Lake Sylvia. It's a great spot to walk or ride bikes as it gets very little traffic. You are bound to see some wildlife here. It’s not uncommon to see deer as you are driving down our driveway. There are a pair of sandhill cranes nearby. Listen for their bizarre call and for the many loons on the lake. Parking Park anywhere in the grass. Walking We love the walk down our winding gravel driveway and (left) to the end of the peninsula. Lots of old, tiny cabins and ginormous new ones.
