De Kaasmakerij - Spacious vacation cottage on a farm

On our cozy farm Huize Blokland, we have built three beautiful apartments in the old cheese factory. Adjacent to our high-stem fruit orchard, you can enjoy the view of the trees that are almost two centuries old and the roaming animals, including chickens, sheep and a cow. Located in the West Frisian countryside, 3 km away from the IJsselmeer and 10 km away from Enkhuizen, Hoorn and Medemblik. The space Beautiful spacious house ideal for couples or small families on a cozy farm. We have sheep, chickens and cats that all love to be cuddled. Unlike the other two cottages, this is one large space (studio/loft). There is a lot of glass so you can enjoy the wide view. There is a spacious kitchen with a large dining table, a large sitting area with two sofas (one of which is a sofa bed of 180x140) and a double bed of 200x180. A possible 5th person can sleep on the three-seater or, if it is a small child, in a crib. The bathroom has a toilet, a washbasin and a rain shower. Outside are picnic tables with afternoon and evening sun and views of the centuries-old orchard where the horses walk and in the summer sometimes small fires are lit and occasionally some tents or campers are parked. The entire cottage has underfloor heating, so it is always wonderfully warm (especially in the winter). Pets are welcome for 10 euros per animal per day. Guest access Our cozy farmyard invites you to lie in the grass of the orchard, read a book in the sun or cuddle with the animals. Children can ride around on pedal tractors and go-karts, swing on the rings, jump on the trampoline and play in the sandbox. In season, you can pick apples and pears and harvest from the vegetable garden. There is a fire pit where you can make a fire to your heart's content. On rainy days, children can play in the barn, where there is a shared kitchen, tables, a sitting area, a hammock, game cabinet, ping-pong table and snooker table.
