Montescudaio, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and located in the Val di Cecina, is the setting for the Agriturismo Il Polveraio, located in the open countryside and in the middle of an olive grove, with a view of the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea and the Tuscan Archipelago. The agriturismo offers various accommodations located in the main house, dating back to the 11th century AD, and in two outbuildings and and will allow you to experience a stay in total peace and tranquillity. The space Independent studio apartment located in a rural house hosting only one other unit, in a panoramic position overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Tuscan Archipelago, and the countryside of Montescudaio. The apartment features a main double bed and two additional beds on a low mezzanine, usable only in exceptional cases. It is primarily designed for an adult couple seeking privacy and tranquility. Groups of adults are not accepted. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, and espresso coffee machine. The bathroom includes a toilet, bidet, sink, and shower. Outside, the studio benefits from a spacious private area, pergola, barbecue, and reserved parking within the property, protected by an electric gate. All accommodations are equipped with a safe and Wi-Fi. The property is located in open countryside, ensuring quiet and privacy, while maintaining a strategic position for exploring Tuscany’s main destinations. From the property, it is easy to reach: the most beautiful beaches of the Tuscan Tyrrhenian coast (10–15 minutes) Bolgheri and the Wine Road (15 minutes) Volterra (30 minutes) Pisa (45 minutes) San Gimignano (45 minutes) Siena (about 1 hour) Florence (about 1.5 hours) The port of Livorno (about 30 minutes) provides ferry connections to Corsica and Sardinia; Elba Island can be reached in under an hour of travel. Well-behaved and socialized dogs are welcome. Guest access Guests will have the whole apartment, garden and private parking area protected by automatic gate. Other things to note Pillows and blankets are provided by the host. Bath and dish soaps and a roll of toilet paper are provided by the host upon arrival. Sheets and towels are provided ONLY ONCE during the stay, no linen/towels change service is offered. Pets owners are requested to keep the house clean from pets hairs on the floor and on the furniture. At the end of the stay, if lots of pets hair will be found, €50,00 will be charged as additional cleaning fee. Dogs cannot be left alone in the apartment for any reason. IMPORTANT According to italian laws heating can be turned on only for 10 hours a day from November 8th to April 6th. We recommend you to bring warm clothes also to stay inside the house during autumn/spring months. Only children under 16 years of age can sleep in the beds on the mezzanine. Tourist tax: €1.50 per day per guest for the first week; €0.75 per day per guest for the second week; not due after the second week; Children under 18 and those over 70 are exempt.
