This newly (2017) renovated, eco-friendly stone-made house, is only 50 meters away from the beach, five minutes’ walk from the town center and only 20 minutes drive from the beautiful mountain village of Trikala! Best of all is the lovely patio outside – accessible from every room of the house – where you can sit and relax with a glass of homemade wine after a day spent at the beach or at the mountain! The Alexandros promises a comfortable home away from home, for you and your family. The three handmade wooden beds (one queen size and two single beds) are equipped with Media Strom’s mattresses – Greece’s top mattress company – and thoughtfully crafted to offer great body support and a blissful sleep! A high-quality double sofa bed accommodates one adult and a child or two small children. The house is also equipped with ultra-quiet, ionized air condition. Wake up refreshed and ready for another day exploring all the best of Xylokastro and the surrounding cities! A beautiful quiet beach with all shades of blue only a few steps away from you, our backyard lemon farm that emanates the soothing smell of lemon tree blossoms, the beautiful forest of Pefkias, and the lofty mountains of Trikala. Stroll around the corner to buy warm, freshly made bread from the local baker, and find outstanding restaurants. And feel free to ask us for recommendations! You can rent a car or take a cab. • By train from the airport: You can take the Proastiakos train right from the airport and get off the station of the town of Kiato. You can take a cab from there (a 10 minute ride) to Xylokastro. • By bus from the centre of Athens: Take the bus from KTEL Kifissos and come straight to Xylokastro (2 hour ride).
