village house in Perseigne Forest

Come and spend a friendly and/or family time in this spacious and serene accommodation. Large living room, wood stove, 2 sofas, equipped kitchen welcome you. Three beautiful bedrooms upstairs. You are at the foot of the Perseigne forest, which promises you beautiful walks in the heart of nature. 6 kilometers from all amenities (cinema, theater, swimming pool and all shops) and 20 kilometers from Alençon for the train. a pleasant and wooded garden behind the house. The space The house is a small old village hotel that was called the Hôtel de l'Espérance. The first construction dates from 1872. The large 60 m2 room served as a game room, ballroom and wedding room for the inhabitants of the village. The bedrooms are large. For two years we have been renovating it. New insulation, electricity, plumbing, painting, etc. The wood-burning stove brings warmth and friendliness. The rooms are heated but blankets and duvets are welcome in winter, and the most sensitive to cold will have to provide thick socks and sweaters. This is an old house with its charm, its grandeur but also its flaws of an old lady over 150 years old. The house outside the downstairs bathroom also has a toilet upstairs. Wood is available for the stove. Guest access The workshop area, the upstairs shower and the cellar are not accessible. The washing machine (for short stays). The cellar under the stairs is private. We store personal belongings there.
