Condo in Giucano

Ideal for a relaxing holiday immersed in nature and close to historical places and beatiful walking tracks, La Casa del Sole is a cosy studio in a characteristic stone house with garden, located in Giucano, a little ancient village on a hill in the heart of Lunigiana, Tuscany. The space in an old stone house renovated respecting the original characteristics, the space has a ceiling with wooden beams and exposed stone walls. Ideal for two people, the studio has a double bed, an ensuite bathroom with a shower, a dining area and a small kitchen. Guests can relax, have meals and sunbathe in the garden. La Casa del Sole is equipped with Wi-Fi, but does not have a TV. Our goal is to let you appreciate the silence and peace of our place. On the top of a hill, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, Giucano is only 10 minutes by car from the medieval village of Fosdinovo, dominated by the ancient Malaspina castle; 15 minutes from Sarzana, 30 minutes from Marina di Carrara and Lerici. Enchanting Versilia is just 45 minutes away. You can reach Portovenere and Cinque Terre in an hour. Lucca and Pisa are 74 km and Florence is 160 km far from our place. For those who like hiking there is Campo Cecina only 20 km away, where you can walk and hike with wonderful views on the Apuan Alps. Francigena Way and Montemarcello Natural Park are quite close too. You can rent a boat at Bocca di Magra (18 km) and sail in the fabolous Golfo dei Poeti and visit Cinque Terre. Guest access You cannot drive into the village, you can only walk. There is however a free parking area nearby. Instructions for the most convenient route to the house will be provided after booking. You need to climb some steps to access the apartment. Not suitable for people with walking difficoltose. Other things to note Minimum stay: two nights. No cleaning service will be provided during the stay. Some cleaning products will be however available in the flat. Bed linen and towels will not be changed during the stay. Giucano is a little village without shops.
