It has recently been renovated by local craftsmen well-versed in the secrets of the volcanic soil of the island with respect to Cycladic architecture. The family-owned business is based on a building 300 years-old among the historic cave houses of the traditional settlement. Ideal for everyone who wants simple elements, calming living Santorini style. A way of life defined by lightness,simplicity and freedom. The name of the house is in honor of the local church of Saint Matrona, built in 1859, features a striking bell tower and a tall palm tree that enchange its yard. Our family always has a special contact with the church. The house has a large open space that includes a fully equipped kitchen for food preperation*. An air conditioner, a sofa bed, TV, free unlimited WIFI, a bathroom with a shower* and a QUEEN SIZE bed built with stone and the COCOMAT layer. Other things to note The accommodation will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival following all hygienic regulations. Bedsheets and towels are changed every 3 days. For extra cleaning services during your stay please text us a day before and we will make the necessary arrangements.
