Wild Wood Cabins: Raven's Landing (with Hot Tub)

This beautiful three bedroom cabin holds a rustic and relaxing charm as it is set in a forested area, located just out of the town of Golden. Raven's Landing is third in the row of five of the Wild Wood Cabins. The unique layout of this cabin is bright and spacious with 3 bedrooms upstairs, 2 bathrooms, and the living and dining areas on the main floor. Relax on a large covered porch overlooking the back yard and an inviting private hot tub. This cabin is perfect for families and friends. The space As of all our cabins on the property, this cabin was built from recycled logs of an old log home and also from wood found on our land which we then milled ourselves. The three bedrooms upstairs are all different sizes. The master bedroom has a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom and walk in closet. Sheets for the downstairs futon are found in this closet. The next bedroom has a queen bed, perfect for two. The third bedroom can sleep three with both a double and single bed. The main floor has a large living area with a tv, smart dvd player, a pellet stove (used more for ambiance and not for heat) and a bookshelf with books, games and some dvd's to watch. The kitchen area is fully equipped with all the dishes, bakeware, utensils, cookware you should need. Drinking water is provided with a dispenser as we do not advise guests drink the tap water. Tap water is ok for cooking with and brushing teeth, but not for drinking consumption, especially in our snow melt season, as we cannot always guarantee its cleanliness. Outside on the covered porch there is a dining table, a few chairs and a bbq. Step off the deck into a 6 person private hot tub. A garbage dumpster is located on the property and guests that are staying longer that two nights are advised to take their excess trash there. There is a map in the cabin that will show you the dumpster's location. Recycling can be collected by the cleaners at the end of your stay, or call us and we can come collect it for you. Guest access Guests have their own direct yard space in front of the cabin. There is a hot tub located off the back deck, and a fire-pit to enjoy. A shared sauna is located nearby in a wooded area to use at your own risk. Other things to note This cabin is close in proximity to the surrounding cabins, yet private enough to feel like you have your own space. If your group size is more than 6 people we would advise you to book a few of the surrounding cabins. Next to Raven's Landing are: Cougar's Cave cabin which can sleep another 6, and Deer Crossing cabin which sleeps 2 comfortably with a pullout couch for a third person. Further out beyond Deer Crossing is Moose's Meadow, which sleeps 6, and further out from Cougar's Cave is Bear's Den, which sleeps 4. Please let us know if you have any questions.
