Springmead The Rustic Cabin

Let the peace and solitude wash over you while you relax in your own exclusive cabin. Located on a working farm (but not a farm stay) this is the place to enjoy wild birds, mist in the valleys and beautiful sunsets or maybe a picnic dinner all within easy reach of Lithgow, Oberon and Bathurst. Springmead offers glorious views of the Blue Mountains and glimpses of Lake Lyell. Kangaroos often visit the cabin. Please note that the cabin does have limited head height in some areas The space Many birds including wrens, parrots and cockatoos live in the garden and surrounds and the resident Kookaburra family live just below the house. A beautiful location to just simply sit back and relax or use this as your base to explore the surrounding area. A continental breakfast is included and served in the guest dinning room Cheese platters and wine or beer are available for purchase and are perfect for enjoying in the courtyard garden or your own private balcony overlooking the farm and mountains. Dinners are also available and picnic hampers can be supplied with prior notice. Although we are a working farm producing beef, lamb and duck as well as a horse stud we are not a farm stay Guest access The cabin is completely self contained with its own private balcony, however guests are welcome to enjoy the breakfast room and guest lounge. We also have a lovely courtyard that we encourage you to use and is perfect for outdoor dinning or just enjoying a wine and cheese platter while watching the sunset. Other things to note We have 2 house cats who will interact with you as much as you choose (although they don't often go to the cabin, and 2 outside dogs all of who are friendly !
