The idyllic town of Idyllwild offers great food, scenic views, dark skies, and of course SNOW during the winter months usually. The space ☆☆ THE PROPERTY ☆☆ The Great Northern is one of 10 rooms on the Hicksville Pines property. Hicksville Pines is on over 2 ½ acres of pine tree covered land in Idyllwild, California. Besides the beauty of being in the forest the property has a game room with multiple arcade games, a jukebox, a 70+ inch TV, darts, hockey, shuffleboard and a big curved sofa. There is also an outdoor hot tub under the trees, a peaceful gazebo, a scandinavian grill house to build a fire in during the snowy winter months and an outdoor kitchen with a full sized fridge, a charcoal grill and a sink with a prep station. The property amenities are shared with the other guests on the property. There are also two resident cats that live on the property named Norma and Ed. ☆☆ THE ROOM ☆☆ Diane... I've found the most amazing room! 3 bedroom 2 story apartment with full kitchen, 1 1/2 bath and tons of details from your favorite show..Twin Peaks. The apartment includes a queen, double, twin and futon and is heated throughout. Listen to the soundtrack on vinyl or the Cooper Tapes on cassette while lounging by the fire. Make cherry pie and coffee in the full kitchen. Watch Fire Walk With Me in The Black Lodge but remember, the owls are not what they seem. We also serve a complimentary daily breakfast! ☆☆ BATHROOM ☆☆ The Great Northern includes 1 ½ bath ☆☆ OUTDOOR KITCHEN ☆☆ The Great Northern includes a mini refrigerator and microwave. Our common area kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to create a home-cooked meal (or reheat leftovers from one of the local restaurants). There is a large common area fridge, charcoal BBQ grill, microwave, dining ware and cookware. We also provide Keurig coffee makers so that you can enjoy a cup of Joe before you go! We offer charcoal and coffee and other goodies for purchase on the property. ☆☆ PARKING ☆☆ The Great Northern comes with 1 reserved parking space for 1 car only. No RV's, buses etc are allowed. Please do not bring more than 1 car as there will be no place for the additional vehicle to park. ☆☆ DOG FRIENDLY☆☆ The Great Northern allows for up to 2 dogs. There is a one-time $25 dog fee per dog. All dogs need to be on leash at all times on the property and can NEVER be left alone in the room. ☆☆ FREE FUN SHARED AMENITIES ☆☆ Hicksville is full of all sorts of fun activities for you to do while you're here. Our family weeks are December 23rd to 29th 2022, March 31st to April 6th 2023, June 23rd to 29th 2023, August 18th to 24th 2023 and December 22nd to 28th 2023.
