Nestled in the forests of Azumino, this private villa features a natural hot spring (onsen) and is run by experienced hosts who prioritize cleanliness. The villa offers self check-in, a fully equipped kitchen, a Japanese garden, JBL audio, and clean linens, perfect for a cozy private retreat in nature. With reservation, guests can enjoy a seasonal, plant-based Japanese cuisine by Chef Mina Toneri at a 130-year-old farmhouse restaurant, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, for a memorable meal. The space By car: about 30 minutes from Azumino Interchange. By train: about 30 minutes from Matsumoto to Hotaka Station, then 20 minutes by taxi. If you don’t have a car, we can arrange pick-up from Hotaka Station or sightseeing services. The villa is in a holiday home area. No convenience stores or supermarkets within walking distance, but cafés and restaurants are nearby. A Japanese style fully private countryside villa This facility comes with a full-size kitchen, an outdoor decking area and JBL sound system (with CD player and record player). Bath towels, toothbrushes, body-friendly shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and cosmetics with zero allergens are all freely available for use. Cleaned sheets and pillow covers are also provided. Please limit the use of fire strictly to the built-in stove. We strive to maintain cleanliness, so we ask that any used utensils be returned to their designated places after use. Please refrain from rearranging the furniture. Care is required when handling the amenities (books, records, CDs) Accommodation includes a room with two single beds and a room with up to three sets of futons, separated by Japanese style sliding door, making it ideal for families, close friends, or couples who wish to enjoy an intimate experience in a small group. The rooms accommodate total of up to 5 guests. Children up to 2 years old can stay for free, but no infant equipment is available. While inconvenient without a car, please inquire about available shuttle and guide services. Parking is available for three cars, including large vehicles within the premises. The whole concept behind our accommodation is to enjoy quality time with your loved ones in a relaxing setting. With high-speed Wi-Fi and a small library, long-term stays and workations are possible. Please relax in our natural hot spring, which has minerals and will leave your skin feeling smooth. We offer Japanese-style plant-based dishes on request. Vegetarians and vegans are welcomed. We can provide children's arrangements, picnic sets as well as long-term stay menus. Please inform any allergies in advance so that you can be rest assured the meals provided are safe, nutritious and a good foundation for improving your health. The restaurant is situated in a 100-year-old traditional private house, with dinner and breakfast plans available. Guests can make use of our original complementary probiotic supplements as well as browse books by culinary researcher Madame Mina Toneri. We also offer cooking class. Guest access The property is a private area. It has a spacious garden, and the surrounding area, being a residential area located near a forest, offers enjoyable outdoor walks. Other things to note The surrounding area is a residential area with permanent residents, so please keep the noise to a minimum especially during nighttime. Please keep the place as clean as you would your own home. Trash should be sorted. Used dishes and utensils must be cleaned and returned to their original place. Any damage to furniture, interior decorations, or appliances will be charged at their original cost. Please report any damage without delay. The use of fire beyond the build-in kitchen stove is strictly prohibited.
