Hidden Gem Bush Cottage

**Last chance to stay at my cosy private bush cottage. My listing will be closed on 17th July 2025 as I’m renting my cottage long term** Wake up to a symphony of birdsong, nestled amongst towering gum trees, down a 200 metre driveway, into the rainforest. Perfect for an overnight stop over, or a few days to unwind in nature. The cottage is stocked with everything you’ll need. Firewood is provided free of charge. The yard is not fenced. The space Tallowwood Cottage is named after the towering Tallowwood Tree in the front yard and tells a story spanning three generations. Originally the cottage was built by my grandparents and its since undergone a few renovations while keeping the original cottage feel. The cottage is part off-grid - connected to the electricity grid and has a rainwater tank supply and septic system. The cottage has two bedrooms with queen sized beds fitted with luxurious linen, one bathroom (with a rain shower head and vanity), separate toilet and a laundry with a washing machine and dryer. If you love to cook, the cottage has a well equipped kitchen with a six burner induction stove, oven and dishwasher. The lounge and dining room is adorned with local Gumbaynggirr artwork and has a spectacular bush view. The cottage has wifi internet access and free Chromecast connection for video streaming when you want to stay in and watch a movie or your favourite series. If you prefer to disconnect from devices. Mobile reception is limited with most carriers so a landline phone is provided free for guest use. Telstra receives the best mobile signal. Guest access You’ll have exclusive use of the entire cottage and surrounds. Access into Tallowwood Cottage is by a digital smart lock on the front door. A code will be sent to you the day before your arrival along with directions and a house manual with handy tips to make your stay a comfortable one. Free off street parking is available for four vehicles in the hard stand area in front of the cottage. Other things to note There is an unfenced dam near the cottage so discretion is to be used when booking with kids. Strict no party policy. There are two steps at the front of the cottage and the shower also has a small ledge, so this listing may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges. For bookings of 1-2 people only the main bedroom bed will be made. Please advise at least two days before arrival if you require the second bed to be made. Registration Details PID-STRA-39556
