Stay near the Château de By, where the museum dedicated to the painter Rosa Bonheur is located. Local attractions also include the castles of Fontainebleau and Vaux-le-Vicomte, picturesque villages (Barbizon, Moret, Samois, Bourron...), the medieval city of Provins, forest hiking trails and climbing sites (a crash pad is at your disposal), activities on the Seine and the Loing. Thomery train station, a 20-minute walk away, allows you to reach Paris in 45 minutes. The space - The house is on 3 levels. On the ground floor you will find a living room and a kitchen. On the first floor, a large bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200) and a single bed (90 x 200), an office area and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. On the top floor is a second spacious bedroom with two beds, a double (140 x 200) and a single (90 x 200). A baby crib is also available. - The accommodation is entirely at your disposal, regardless of the number of people. - The house has a small courtyard at the front where you can enjoy meals in good weather. The space is unfenced, but overlooks a quiet lane. - You will find basic products in the accommodation: sheets and towels, salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea, sugar, hygiene products... The tap water is drinkable. - The accommodation is close to a train station: 20 minutes' walk along a forest path. The trip to Paris takes 45 minutes. Nevertheless, we recommend that guests have a vehicle to fully enjoy the regional attractions and for the sake of convenience, as the home is in a residential area with no shops nearby. The nearest supermarket is a 20-minute walk away. Cycling is also a good option for getting around along forest trails and the banks of the Seine and Loing. - Attention to lovers of spacious bathrooms: the one in the accommodation is quite small! Guest access - Check-in is done independently via a key box, the code for which will be sent to you shortly before your arrival. - If you'd like to check in a little earlier or check out a little later than the times indicated, please let us know by sending us a message and we'll check if our schedule allows it. Other things to note - Parking is free throughout the village and you will find spaces on the street or in a parking lot in the immediate vicinity of the house. However, it is not possible to park right in front of the accommodation. - The Château de Rosa Bonheur, located 200 m from the house, offers a tea room, lunches/brunch by reservation, as well as many events. - In the center of the village (about 20 minutes' walk), you will find a supermarket, a wine shop, a coffee shop, a pharmacy, a post office, as well as a restaurant and the Dattner tea maker's shop. - Thomery station (TER line R), offering connections to Fontainebleau, Paris and Moret-sur-Loing, is about a 20-minute walk away.
