Great midtown neighborhood, access to everything

Nice comfortable place perfectly located on a lakeside park in the middle of Anchorage. Great base of operations for business and pleasure. Close to hospitals and university, nice walkable neighborhood, easy access to bike trails, great restaurants and breweries. Fully equipped for long/short-term stays. Often complimented comfortable beds, nice linens, comfy furniture, and a well-appointed kitchen. Full size washer and dryer. Quiet and relaxing yet only steps away from the action. The space The house is a hillside duplex with two completely separate, fully equipped and independent units. BNB guests enter at street level, just two steps up. Guests occupy the upper level with lower level being a walkout basement., owner occupied.Again, separate spaces with entries on opposite sides of the house. Inside is a large kitchen with a breakfast bar opening to the living room. The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house separated by a full bath and laundry area. This provides each bedroom with complete privacy. The living room and kitchen have peek-a-boo mountain views to the front while bedrooms and bath have lakeside and park views to the back. No neighbors front or back. Side neighbors obscured by opaque window blinds and blackout drapes. Private parking for one car in the driveway, plenty of street parking. The landscape is planted with perennials, clover front lawn to attract wildlife, fruit trees and a small vegetable garden. Front walk is an uninterrupted sidewalk circumnavigating most of the lake. The remainder of the lake circumference is wild parkland. University and medical campuses can be accessed from the neighborhood via a single pedestrian bridge. No busy streets to hazard crossing. Guest access Hassle-free parking at the house. Park the car and walk or bike to nearby trails, parks, grog shop and restaurants. Other things to note We try to remain invisible and often do not see our guests during their stay. We are happy to interact and enjoy sharing our knowledge and love of Alaska.
