This charming home is located in a picturesque village, just an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, making it easy to reach by car. A perfect place to experience the enchanting beauty of Lapland! Welcome to a traditional Lappish house, built in 1945 and formerly serving as a village school. This charming home is located in a picturesque village, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Kaihuavaara and the Kemijoki River, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Lapland’s nature. Here, you can unwind and fully enjoy your stay! 🌟 Our home offers you: Size and spaces: 110 m², two floors. Downstairs, you will find a spacious entrance hall, a large kitchen, a living room, a shower, a sauna, and a toilet. The heart of the living room is the fireplace, which creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, and the other with two double beds and a single bed. The house comfortably accommodates 7 guests. Soft beds and clean linens ensure a restful sleep. Towels and bed linen are included in the price. Kitchen: Equipped with everything you need for cooking and dining (dishes, pots, wine glasses, etc.). We also provide coffee, tea, and delicious cookies. The kitchen includes a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, refrigerator, and oven. Traditional wood-heated sauna: The perfect place to relax. The sauna is heated with wood, and firewood can be found in the outdoor storage. Amenities: The house is equipped with Wi-Fi, Netflix, and gaming consoles (PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Wii), as well as board games to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Final cleaning included: You don't need to worry about cleaning—we’ll take care of it for you. Winter activities: Guests have access to kick sleds, sleds, and toboggans. Important information: Location: The cottage is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi. No public transportation: Please note that there is no public transport to the cottage. The only way to reach it is by car. Grocery store: There is one grocery store in the village, located 7.5 km from the house. Nature and safety: The Kemijoki River is 500 meters from the cottage. Walking on the ice without a guide is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
