Normandy house "Le Bocage" for 2 to 7 people

Our pretty 130 m2 Normandy house in the countryside, renovated in 2020, will welcome you for a vacation with friends and family. This bright cottage with fireplace and private garden is located on our 1 ha property. Located 5 minutes from the expressway, 10 minutes from Dieppe and 30 minutes from Rouen, it will allow you to visit the main tourist attractions very easily. Plus we are 10 minutes from the beaches. Our animals and the ones we collect will delight the children! The space I welcome you to my typical Normandy cottage. Its private garden with terrace overlooks the property, the fruit trees and the goat pens (which, like you, sleep at night!). In addition, as we are concerned about the future of our planet, our cottage is completely self-sufficient in terms of water. Indeed, it is supplied with rainwater filtered by UV lamps without chemicals. (A drinking water tank is installed in the kitchen that can be used by the whole family.) The house is heated before your arrival and during your stay at no extra charge by wall heaters. If you would like to use the fireplace, you will be asked for €10 for 1 wheelbarrow of wood (i.e. 1 evening of fire) with kindling to light it! The number of bedrooms will depend on the number of guests. For 2 people: 1 bedroom; for 3, 4 or 5 people: 2 bedrooms. For 6 people: 3 bedrooms. If there are 3 children, they will all sleep in the same room, and the baby will sleep with his/her parents. The package for bed linen, towels and basic toiletries is not included in the B&B rate and will be charged upon arrival at 10 euros per person (5 euros per child/free for babies). The beds will be made... All you have to do is go to bed!! This package is mandatory because I want my current and future guests to sleep in the best possible way. Basic necessities are provided, and there are towels for everyone. There is no cleaning package because we rely on our guests' common decency to leave the house as tidy as it was on arrival, with the dishes done (dishwasher tablets provided), the trash taken out (bag provided), the linens removed from the beds, etc. If the cleaning time exceeds the allotted time, an additional fee may be charged (I don't do your dishes 😉 and I don't clean up your messes or accidents). Please note that other guests sometimes arrive 4 hours after your checkout. I'm not a fairy!!! Unfortunately! The accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, 1 fridge, oven, washing machine, coffee machine, iron). A large living room with 2 sofas, a TV, a table for 8, and a fireplace leading onto a 35 m2 terrace with a small garden. The toilet is separated from the shower room. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms are equipped with separate beds that can be pushed together (one with 3 beds and the other with 2). The 3rd bedroom includes a double bed (160 cm). The door leading outside (locked) on the upper floor is in a bedroom, but it opens into the house! In the hallway leading to the bedroom, there is a reading corner for young and old. The crib is set up in one of the bedrooms. There is a high chair, a baby monitor and a small inflatable plastic bathtub. Numerous hiking trails are accessible to everyone. No pets allowed in our cottage. The house is non-smoking. An ashtray is available on the terrace. We have animals, including small goats and male goats that were taken in as kids in 2020 and 2021 after being rescued, as well as chickens. Sometimes you may see donkeys, ponies and horses, as we are a "welcome garden" for an association. Children can enjoy the swing in the shared garden while you play pétanque! If you wish to check in from 1 p.m. or check out by 1 p.m. ... sometimes it's easier when you're attending a wedding. This is possible, but you must request it in advance (it's not always possible to accommodate everyone), and a fee of 20 euros for the whole group will be charged upon arrival. For safety reasons, the number of guests in the gîte must be the number listed on the booking. Visitors are not allowed. Guest access The cottage is for you only and has its own access. One-way street for check-in, you won't be able to get lost. The garden is enclosed by embankments and you can easily park inside the garden because the cottage has its own entrance and private parking spaces attached to the cottage. Motorcycles can also be sheltered if you wish. We have plenty of land so travelers in traffic or by truck can park in the garden without problems :) Other things to note There is no cleaning fee. I'll let you put everything back in its place, clean the dishes, remove the sheets from the beds, empty the barbecue, the fireplaces and the ashtrays; take out the garbage. We simply rely on good manners, trust and mutual respect. For the use of the fireplace, this is decorative since the heating is in all the rooms. If you want a wooden wheelbarrow (10 euros per wheelbarrow) just let me know when booking. Note that in these 10 euros you have clean sheets installed on your beds, all the necessary products (salt, pepper, coffee, tea, cleaning products, chocolate, coffee, tea towels, sugar-coated almonds, dishwasher, toilet paper) which will facilitate your trip, especially if you stay 1 night, heating in each room... and throughout the house :) But for reasons of energy saving and limiting electricity consumption, the number of rooms will be open according to the number of guests.
