Cabin #3 - Moreno's Cottages - 100th Anniversary!

Celebrating Moreno's Cottages 100th Year! 1 -2 BR cabins are clean and well kept. Situated on 3 acres, surrounded by forever wild forest. Conveniently located between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid - comes see why so many of our guests return each year! Our Summer only cabins are open June - October each year. Please look for your favorite of our 10 cabins, search under "Moreno's" for details and reviews. We offer Cabin 10 all year, on Airbnb. We offer discounted rates at 4+ nights and weekly. The space Cabin #3 has queen memory foam mattresses on Hickory log beds, a living room, dining area and kitchen. There is a separate main entrance at the tree line side of the cabin that leads into the living room, and an entrance directly to the northern facing bedroom as well. Both bathroom have stand up showers. The decor is mountain rustic and woodsy, with tasteful drapery, log beds, high quality bed covers, and Oxford Egyptian cotton sheets. Cabins are cooled with wall or window A/C units, and offer a gas wall heater for chilly nights or fall days. We are a family business that takes pride in our property. We keep our cabins CLEAN and well maintained. We are only 5 minutes in either direction from Lake Placid and Saranac lake. We are right off highway 86 for your convenience, but our property is quiet and peaceful. Guest access We have free Wifi spread throughout the property and cable TV. Our guests say the speed and signal strength are very good no matter where you stay. Each cabin has a BBQ grill , Adirondack chairs, picnic table, and fire pit for its own use. The grounds are spacious, treed and offer horseshoe pits and firewood available for purchase. Parking is plentiful and free. There is a gas station within walking distance that carries groceries, sandwiches, beer, ice , etc. The Ray Brook Brewing Co. and Tail O' the Pup outdoor BBQ restaurant are just steps away on foot. Other things to note Moreno's Cottages celebrates 100 years! Moreno's was founded by Tessie and Tony Moreno, in 1923. Tony built this property by hand over the years and Aunt Tessie ran the place like a drill Sargent. The Drake Family is proud to continue this legacy offering rustic , traditional Adirondack cabins and a family friendly atmosphere. Together with our 4 children, we are constantly updating and remodeling to make our guests' stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. We welcome you to visit us year round. During July and August, we allow pets under 15 lbs, only, and ask that you contact us first to let us know.
