Vintage Mississippi—Get 15% Off on a 7 day stay! Southern home in the same family for five generations, located on a quiet historic street only 5 blocks from downtown Ocean Springs, a town rich with activities, shopping, and entertainment. Easily walk to the grocery and numerous eateries. Bring bicycles and park them inside. We also have room for boat trailers and access to Old Fort Bayou is only a four blocks away. Vintage Mississippi and premises are NON-SMOKING. The space Our newer (1960s) loft apartment is connected to the main house (built 1920) by a large screened breezeway—great place for relaxing, eating, and enjoying your favorite libations. We encourage music too. So bring your acoustic instruments if you like, or play ours! We love scrubbing off a few tunes with new friends. When you want to be alone, your fully furnished apartment is quiet and very private where you'll feel right at home, with a laundry included. And WiFi is free, but there is no TV. Parking is off-street in a private and paved driveway. The street is quiet and safe. There are many nice places to walk all around the neighborhood. The neighbors know us, and everyone likes to wave and say hello. Many folks who stay with us like to walk or ride bicycles downtown. We love historic Ocean Springs and know you will too! Please keep in mind that the entire premises in non-smoking. Guest access The breezeway and the laundry are shared space. We also have a BIG yard with a creek; a walking bridge leads to trails along the creek you can enjoy that are also short-cuts to downtown. If you want to bring or rent bicycles, let us know—we have space for parking them in the garage. Other things to note We are a work in progress—always doing something to fix up or improve the place. Sometimes there is activity, but it should never adversely effect your stay. We also want you to know that take health safety seriously and have made expensive changes to our cleaning routine. Our intensive cleaning efforts include disinfecting all surfaces. Our most expensive change is a 4 day wait between guests. No more 4hr turnarounds, but that is what is recommended at this juncture—for your safety and for ours. It only makes sense to offer deep discounts for longer stays: 1 week 15% off and 25% off if you stay for a month!
