This space is for TWO PEOPLE, NO PETS, & ONE VEHICLE (there is no on street parking for a second vehicle). This is a private apt. in an historic home. Workmen, lawn care people, etc. may be on the property during your stay. Minutes from everything Lancaster and a short drive to Hocking Hills & Columbus. The space …Entire one bedroom apartment. Remodeled in a contemporary and luxurious decor. Your own private entrance, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining area, and laundry. Private, covered, and furnished veranda and over an acre of beautiful, rolling hills and natural scenery. Fully equipped kitchen features four burner stove with oven, microwave, range hood (with light and exhaust), and compact refrigerator with small freezer. Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, flatware, cooking utensils, glassware, cookware, and Kurig coffee maker. The apartment features a large clothes closet, flatscreen TV with Netflix, Prime, and other viewing apps, surround sound system, WiFi, sitting area, desk, large dresser, King bed, black-out drapes, iron and ironing board, washer and dryer, hair dryer, and luxury linens. Important Note: We have a “smart” security system. It consists of a full color, touch screen control panel located on the wall directly next to the entry door. In the event that you decide to use the security system and you “arm it” if you are INSIDE the Air BnB apartment and someone on the outside attempts to break in to the air BnB, (which is highly unlikely) the panel will take a 2 second picture of the room exactly in front of the door which is not going to include the bed or bathroom in hopes of catching the image of the person who is actually breaking into the apartment. This is a feature that cannot be disabled and only functions IF you (as the guest) have armed the security system. You can simply not use the system and no picture would be taken if someone actually broke in the apartment or you can simply unplug the security system panel if it bothers you to have it receiving any electrical power at all. I don’t want to remove this system from the Air BnB apartment because in the event of a fire, carbon monoxide leak, or a break in of the Air BnB apartment, emergency services will be dispatched automatically and immediately without myself or a guest having to do anything and since my family and friends also use my air BnB, I want everyone who stays in it as safe as possible at all times. Guest access …This entire walk out basement is located on the first floor of the home. This is a self-contained, one bedroom apartment. This is a private space. Guests have their own private entry door. You can access the apartment by walking down a 5 foot wide, step-free cement sidewalk, that is lighted and leads to the Air BnB front door. There is a private, and beautifully furnished, enclosed veranda that is exclusive to the Air BnB apartment and offers stunning views of the rolling hills and gorgeous back yard. You have your own electronic key pad and code to gain access to and from your apartment on your schedule. You can also arm and disarm a security system for the apartment if you so choose. Cleaning service will come after day three to clean and launder linens, and every three days after that for extended stay guests unless they prefer no service during their stay. Other things to note …please keep back yard gates and driveway gates closed and latched at all times to prevent our dog from leaving the back yard and delivery vehicles from driving on our new driveway. Our dog is a 16 year old beagle. Her name is Millie. She is very friendly, although timid at first. She does like to lay on the Air BnB patio sofa, so don’t be surprised if you see her there 😁 Please be advised that this is a private apartment in an historic home. Workmen, lawn care people, etc, may be on the property during your stay in order to maintain the home to its high standards. All apartment windows have shears and blackout drapes. You can keep these drawn to ensure maximum privacy if we have people on the premises.
