Welcome to “Fairlight” our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom lovingly restored 1830’s Queenslander, located in a lovely quiet street of Booval just a 3min drive from the historical Ipswich city centre and a short walk to supermarkets, shops and public transport. The space Superbly restored and renovated in 2022, our spacious 90 year old home oozes character and charm while the artfully designed interior spaces, deliciously comfortable beds and modern luxuries will ensure you will never want to leave. Our home is filled with original features such as vj paneling and high ceilings throughout, breezeways, stained glass windows, solid timber floors, french doors leading out onto the breezy front deck complete with additional dining table and chairs, lounge suite and swinging egg chair. You will love cooking in the large, country style fully equipped kitchen with electric cooktop, oven and dishwasher and enjoy a cosey dinner around the antique 8 seater dining table. Bedroom 1, 2 and 3 are all located at the front of the house. Bedroom 1 is airconditioned and boasts a beautiful crystal chandelier above the queen sized bed. You will find a stunning ensuite bathroom with luxurious claw foot tub and antique vanity basin through the double french doors. Bedroom 2 also has a queen sized bed, french armorie, stained glass windows and a ceiling fan. Bedroom 3 has a double bed, built in robe and ceiling fan. Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds, ceiling fan and built in robe and is located at the rear of the house. There is plenty of space in the lounge room to sit and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV complete with Netflix or stream directly through Chromecast using the high-speed wifi. The lounge has reverse cycle airconditioning which cools the house in summer and warms quickly in the cooler months. You will find a washing machine and dryer in the laundry plus enough washing powder to get you started. A clothes line is also found outside at the rear of the property. The master bathroom is home to a second claw-foot bath. Enjoy a long soak with a good book and instant hot water from the brand new gas hot water system. Please note: Both showers are over the bathtub as pictured so this may not suit guests with mobility issues. Guest access The entire home is available for your enjoyment throughout your stay. Please note there is an external staircase to access the front door. Also both showers are above claw-foot bath tubs and we do not have grab rails for elderly guests. Other things to note All towels and linen are provided along with good quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash. A porta cot and high-chair can be provided free of charge - please let us know if you require this. Only a maximum of 8 guests are permitted to stay at the property at any one time, however additional babies are welcome at no extra charge.
