The ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Relax here, forget the world and enjoy the peace and quiet, big skies, and open spaces. This cottage is situated on a working ostrich and sheep farm. It is fully equipped, and has3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 double beds, and 1 three-quarter bed. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Braai/BBQ facilities available, firewood provided. Your hosts have lived at Sunnyside Farm since 1997 and will willingly answer any questions you might have. The space Oudtshoorn is traditionally a warm to hot area but temperatures can change dramatically. Bring some Warmer items of clothing. Guests must have a vehicle as we are situated 11 km (+- 15 mins drive on good tar road) from the nearest shops which are in Oudtshoorn. There is 1 km of gravel road to travel. Many people enjoy Jogging or cycling in the district. We have a flock of Sheep on the farm and you might be fortunate and be able to cuddle a newborn lamb! The sunrise and sunset are something to see on most days. Sit on a garden bench and watch the show. Other things to note Guest's need to love peaceful and quiet surroundings and keeping noise pollution limited. As this unit is self catering you will need to bring your food and drink supplies with you.
