Glencoe Country Bed & Breakfast is a small, owner-run B&B in a historic late-1800s farmhouse. This is not self-contained accommodation and does not include a guest kitchen or BBQ. A microwave is provided for reheating only. Originally a dairy farm, Glencoe offers old-world charm, Highland cattle, gardens, Mt Roland views, and a peaceful, relaxed farm-stay experience with historic charm and mountain views. Our tall, 10 foot ceilings provide generous wall space for you to enjoy artworks from talented local artists. Breakfast included Included in the price of your room, start your day with a delightful continental and full cooked seasonal breakfast. With barista-style coffee and T2 teas, breakfast is served either on the heated deck or in the guest dining room. Guest access Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Early arrivals (before 3:00 PM) are by prior arrangement only. Arrivals after 8:00 PM are by prior arrangement only. Please note we are unable to accept check-ins after 9:30 PM, due to the nature of our small, historic home and consideration for other guests. During your stay We will greet you on arrival, provide you with your room and house key, give a brief tour of the house, arrange breakfast times, and answer any questions. We live on the property, but keep to our own living spaces to ensure your stay is as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. Rest assured though that we’re around if you need us, between the hours of 7am to 8pm. We are contactable by phone, in person, or by front doorbell (which is linked to our phones, in case we are tending to the farm). Other things to note • No children aged 12 and under. • Children aged 13 years and over are welcome. • Service and cleaning fees are included in the price. • Unfortunately, Glencoe is no longer pet friendly. • For the safety and security of our guests, security cameras operate in outdoor areas only. There are no cameras inside the house. • Glencoe Country Bed & Breakfast is a smoke-free house. Smoking is permitted outdoors only. • Secure undercover storage is available for bicycles. • Breakfast is included. Please advise us of any dietary requirements prior to arrival. • Gluten-free options are available. • Lactose-free, lite, soy and oat milk are available. • Glencoe is a working farm. We do not offer scheduled farm tours, however hand-feeding of animals may be possible by request — please ask us on arrival.
