The space We have an awesome hostal on the point, in front of the third section. CHICAMA POINT is so long that we cannot see the beginning of the wave from our hostal. The 3rd section is the fastest, most hollow, and hardest part to surf. The 3rd section is a great place to be and to capture on videos and photos. We also have the café/restaurant as well which offers a simple menu of burritos, tacos, burgers, pizzas and more. The building has 3 floors. The restaurant and the Owners residence is on the 1st floor. The guest rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Our hostal has 2 large terraces. There is a small 5th floor terrace. These terraces are great and secure for photos/videos if you have expensive camera equipment. Guest access Guests can relax on the third and fourth floor terraces which has a clothes line for drying. ON THE FIRST FLOOR THERE IS ALSO A ½ BATHROOM. All rooms have private bathrooms. We have kitchen access for all guests in some form. The studio has a private kitchen and the others have a shared kitchen. We have WIFI/Internet. The building has video surveillance cameras in many common areas for security purposes. Other things to note There are NO ATM MACHINES IN CHICAMA. Carefully bring lots of cash, very few businesses accept credit or debit cards. There is surf all year round, but May, June, July and August are the best months. It gets real hot in the summer and stays nice in the winter, never really gets cold. The crowds are worst in the winter and on the weekends. Whatever your needs or desires are please ask and we will do whatever we can to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible.
