Welcome to a 110 m² modern granny cottage that combines the tranquility of nature with practicality. The cottage has a large dining table for 10 people, a well-equipped kitchen and an atmospheric fireplace/baking oven. The spacious 5500 m² courtyard offers plenty of space for play, games and relaxation. The Pihlajajoki river flowing along the edge of the plot and its own jetty create the perfect setting for swimming or enjoying peaceful mornings. In winter, the dock is an excellent place for ice swimming. The space The building was completed in 2004. The cottage has comfortable beds for 10 people, plus one bed in the living room. If necessary, we can arrange extra beds for up to 3 extra people with high-quality mattresses. Outside the summer season, groups of 1-8 people have access to two bedrooms and a living room bed. For larger groups, a third bedroom, Vilpola, with a double bed, will also be opened. For an additional fee, Vilpola can also be made available to smaller groups outside the summer season. The cottage has one bathroom (1 shower) and one toilet. The cottage's gas grill is not in use during the winter. The wood-fired barbecue on the river bank is available all year round, except during the summer months when there is a fire warning. The illuminated yard can accommodate several cars in the parking lot. Guest access The entire house, courtyard and riverfront are available. In addition, there is access to the jetty on the shore of Lake Päijänne. Other things to note Linen and towels: Guests bring their own, unless a rental (10 €/person) has been agreed upon. Final cleaning: Not included in the price. Guests must clean the cottage to the same condition as it was upon arrival. Cleaning can be purchased at a price of €140 and must be agreed with the host no later than the day before the departure date. Hot tub: Rented for €195/2 days (rented for the entire stay). For stays longer than 2 days, ask for a quote. Rowboat + life jackets: Available for rent at €30/day. Accessories: Snow boots and SUP boards available – ask for a quote. In summer, the nearby village comes to life – you will find, for example, a restaurant, a village shop, a harbor café, a tennis court and a boat place. Finland's second largest lake, Päijänne, is right next door.
