Description

The Blue Room - Originally the master bedroom, with super king bed and period furniture. This gracious room is light with double aspect windows facing south and west catching sun for most of the day. The space Sloley Hall is a Georgian country house surrounded by parkland and mature woodland over looking beautiful, historic countryside on the owner’s estate. Sloley Hall was built by our family 1815. We believe it is a very special place to be. It is surrounded by mature country gardens within parkland and mature woodland and located within our family estate of just under 1000 acres. We offer guests the opportunity of staying in our family home. Its the perfectly located for exploring North Norfolk. The Blue Room - Originally the master bedroom, with super king bed and period furniture. This gracious room is light with double aspect windows facing south and west catching sun for most of the day. Breakfast is served in the Dinning Room which faces east with views across the garden and is flooded with sunlight in the morning. The room has a mahogany Georgian dinning table and 18th century Turkish rug. It also features a large black Onyx fireplace which is lit on winter mornings. Whilst staying at Sloley guests are welcome to use the Cabinet with its large comfy sofa and chairs. There is also a wood burner that creates a warm cosy atmosphere during long winter nights. North Norfolk is a mecca for nature lovers, anglers, painters and walkers. Wroxham, gateway to 125 miles of waterways which make up the National Park of the Norfolk Broads, are just a short drive away and can be explored by foot, bike, car or day boat. The stunning coastline is also within easy reach with quaint seaside towns full of cobbled streets and fishing boats and the larger towns with promenades, piers and sandy beaches. Family destinations include Dinosaur World, Bewilderwood and Africa Alive. While culinary, retail or cultural tastes can be served by the city of Norwich which is also close by. During your stay We will be available for guests to contact during their stay and more than happy to help with suggestions for places to visit etc.
