We are a privately owned free house pub restaurant, with five super king en suite bed & breakfast rooms (double or twin) in a separate mews, that has resided at the heart of the pretty conservation village of Balsham, Cambridgeshire, since the 16th Century. The space The five guest rooms have been given a makeover by our interior designer, Annie Lambert (Norfolk), quickly achieving four AA stars and are in a separate new building just off the main pub. All are 6ft super king double en suite on the ground floor with internet access. We can offer a twin bed arrangement - please book the Twin Bed option if this is what you require. There is also space for Z beds or cots for extra guests (small supplement). Dogs are welcome upon specific request in the rooms (and in the bar restaurant) for a small supplement and subject to certain house rules that any dog owner would expect (see Terms). The rooms have been awarded 4 Stars by the AA every year from the outset. Alastair Sawday have given us their stamp of approval – recommendations do not come better than that in our industry.
